MADRID 2020 OLYMPIC BID AT THE SPANISH HOUSE IN LONDON
RADAR TOUCH PROJECTION AND TOUCHSCREEN PRESENTATION
During the London 2012 Olympics, Madrid presented its candidacy to host the 2020 Olympic Games through two interactive presentations in the Spanish House installed in London. Pictures That Move was selected in a public contest for this project. We developed a 270º interactive projection controlled by Radar Touch as well as a sophisticated Touch Screen application that allows one to navigate through 39 Olympic disciplines and their corresponding venues locating them in a dynamic Interface created in 3D.
Both projects were produced by PTM with Ventuz and they can be updated in real time through a simple data base. The interactive installation was inaugurated by HM The Spanish Queen Sofía on July 2th 2012. After the London Olympics the project will be set up in the Madrid 2020 venue in Spain.
